Sweetheart is a collection of still-life, studio-constructed images all containing hearts. The ubiquitous symbol of the heart is completely different to what the real mis-shaped object looks like. Using the horror and gore of its actuality, I wanted to incorporate this symbolism into a different kind of photograph.
